Delta Steam Way is locally owned and operated by Loren & Cristina Egland. Loren first started in the carpet cleaning business in 1970. He is one of a very few cleaners in California that has met the school and testing requirements to attain Master Textile Cleaner certification by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC). He maintains these credentials through continuing education.

In 2002 Loren was invited from among thousands of cleaners throughout the country by Steam Way International to become one of only 6 individuals that make up the True Blue Cleaning Crew. As a TBTC instructor, Loren traveled to various locations through out the year conducting Tech Zone training sessions on solutions to cleaning problems for professional cleaners. Loren has written articles for the leading industry magazine, Cleanfax, including the June 2006 cover story article. Loren & Cristina were also the California Distributors for Steam Way International from 1987 to 1992.

They are also a member of the Select Team by Steam Way. They are not a franchise, but are independently owned. They are, however, supported by Steam Way, the largest network of professional carpet cleaners in the world. They are in touch every day with carpet manufacturers, government agencies, and other interested parties to make sure the equipment and cleaning solutions we use provide true state-of-the-art cleaning. All your carpet & upholstery will be cleaned by the owner/technician. This means you can depend on the highest quality of workmanship consistently being performed. No quick once over only to wet your carpet and leave. Loren will take whatever time necessary to do the job right (often twice as much time as other cleaners) using only the finest quality products and equipment correctly. Residential carpets manufactured after January 1, 2007 by Shaw, Mohawk, and Beaulieu (the three largest carpet manufacturers with an 80%+ U.S. market share) recommend or require professional cleaning with cleaning systems, equipment, and/or cleaning solutions that have been tested or approved by the Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI) Seal Of Approval (SOA) program, to maintain your carpet&s warranties.
Effective January 1, 2008 Shaw warranties also require that professional service must be performed by an IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification) certified firm.
