Loren was born and grew up in Iowa, most of his time being spent living on two farms. Cristina was born and grew up in Michigan.

Loren moved to Rochester, Minnesota in 1970 and started Rochester Steam Way at a time when steam carpet cleaning was brand new to the industry.

Cristina moved to Rochester, Minnesota in 1982 where she worked for IBM and later went into a nutrition business.

Loren and Cristina met in 1983 and got married in 1984. Between them they have 6 daughters from previous marriages. Loren's two daughters Summer & Autumn, and Cristina's four daughters Debbie, Dawn, Cheryl, & Michelle. All are pictured above.

They spent their honeymoon in Northern California, fell in love with the area, and bought a house in Antioch while still on their honeymoon. Five months later they moved to California to start their new life together, and began Delta Steam Way at that time.

Four of their daughters and one grand daughter, along with their husbands, each have their own cleaning businesses in Northern California. You can see their trucks and their location on the All In The Family page.

One of their interests has been breeding and showing Akita dogs. Check out these beautiful creatures at www.northlandakitas.com . Other interests include driving and occasionally showing our vintage 1970 Mustang Mach One, watching the NBA Golden State Warrior basketball games, and spending time enjoying nature on their 10 acres in the Placerville foothills area.

Loren & Cristina are avid Bible readers and spend time attending meetings and helping others learn more about the Bible.

They also enjoy family time with their 6 daughters and their families, all living in northern California.

They plan on remaining in Antioch and continuing to operate Delta Steam Way for several more years.
